As part of the practical activities organized by Dr. Minerva Qassis Jarayseh for students of the School Psychology course, a field visit was conducted to the Neuropsychology Laboratory at Bethlehem University. The visit aimed to equip students with specialized knowledge regarding neuropsychological assessments used in evaluating and diagnosing developmental disorders in children, as well as measuring learning difficulties encountered by educators and psychologists.
During the visit, Dr. Ahmed Fasfous provided a detailed presentation on the various tools available in the laboratory, explaining their application mechanisms and their roles in the assessment and diagnostic processes. He also highlighted the significance of the NeuroDev Project (Neuro-Psychological Development), funded by the European Union. This project is a collaborative partnership with local and international universities dedicated to establishing specialized centers for neuropsychological assessment and developmental disorders at Bethlehem University, Hebron University, and An-Najah National University.
