Bethlehem University is partnering with local and international universities on a project titled "University Centers for Neurodevelopment (NeuroDev)," which is funded by ERASMUS+. Academic programs, training, and research on child neurodevelopment and neurodevelopmental problems are very scarce in Palestine. Therefore, the objective of this project is to establish University Centers for Neurodevelopment (UCN) that will consist of three units: a practical training unit, a research unit, and a community services unit. Three centers will be set up and equipped at three Palestinian universities: Bethlehem University, An-Najah National University, and Hebron University. This project aims to create new university structures that bridge the gap between theory and practice in child neurodevelopment. By providing specialized training and professional skills, the project will help students transition into the labor market, enhance their research capabilities in child neuropsychology, and strengthen the connection between the university and the social needs of Palestinian citizens.
